Pick up Guidelines
Please have your trash curbside by 8:00 AM every Thursday.
Recycling is picked up the 1st Thursday of every month.
All trash must be placed in yellow Town of Walpole bags.
Any items not placed in Town of Walpole bags will not be taken.
Yard waste is not allowed in the Town of Walpole bags.
At the discretion of the driver, bags that are deemed too heavy will be stickered and left to be separated into smaller more manageable bags. Our backs thank you!!!
Please limit the weight of your bag to 40 lbs or less.
Major Holidays: If a major holiday falls on a Thursday, pick up will occur on the Tuesday prior to that day.

Placed in one bag separate from all other recyclables.
Metal cansPlaced in one bag separate from all other recyclables. Rinsed out.
Glass ContainersAll glass containers in one bag separate from all other recyclables. Must be rinsed and tops removed.
Plastics (#1-7)All plastics in one bag separate from all other recyclables with caps removed.
NewspaperAll newspaper (DRY) in one bag separate from all other recyclables.
PaperboardAll paperboard (DRY) in one bag separate from all other recyclables.
CardboardAll cardboard (DRY) in one bag, box or tied in a bundle separate from all other recyclables.
PROHIBITED ITEMS No waxed milk or orange juice containers, plastic cups or plastic egg cartons or plastic salad containers or plastic fruit containers or coleslaw containers, etc. These items should be put in with your regular trash in Walpole yellow bags. Large Items
If you have a large item such as a couch, chair, furniture, TV, washer, dryer, etc. we can pick those up for an additional fee paid directly to the driver. A receipt is available upon request.
